The Society
There should be more reasons to spend time together.
A dinner. A game. A walk across London. A party for no particular reason beyond wanting to have one.
The Society for General Merriment exists to make more of those things happen.

A good occasion takes some thought.
We think about the place, the number of people, what they'll actually do when they get there, and how much structure the occasion needs.
That might mean a host making introductions, deciding where people sit, writing a set of clues, or leaving well enough alone.
You don't need to know somebody already.
Come with someone if you like. Plenty of people don't.
You shouldn't need to know the right people before you arrive to have a good time once you're there.
And not everyone you meet has to become a friend afterwards. Sometimes a good evening is enough.
